Everybody knows that GOFA is one of the most exciting times of the school year. This season, many organizations around Mayo High School are offering students various ways to get involved and enjoy delicious food. Whether you love decorating cookies or stocking up on baked goods, you’re in luck. In support of Give One For All, TOPS will host a cookie-decorating activity, followed by a bake sale the following week.
Taking place on Thursday, December 4th, Spartans are invited to decorate festive sugar cookies during their lunch period. In the cafeteria, all students are welcome to participate. There will be a table with frosting, sprinkles, and everything needed to decorate the perfect cookie! Donations, regardless of the amount, are appreciated and will be used directly to support GOFA’s fundraising efforts.
Following this event, on Monday, December 8th, the school spirit will continue with a bake sale held outside of the cafeteria. A table will be set up where students can purchase a variety of homemade sweet treats. Mayo students have volunteered their time and baking talents to make this event possible. Be sure to stop by and grab a treat or two. Every purchase will make a difference.
GOFA has been and continues to be a fun, cherished tradition. Mayo looks forward to everyone’s generosity during the GOFA season. Bring your creativity, your appetite, and most importantly, bring your Spartan spirit!
