Hi, my name is Kaycee Taylor and I’m a senior this year and the editor of The Advocate. In my free time, I enjoy to read, write, and be outdoors. I like to go camping and canoeing with my dad and sister, when we have the time. I participate in debate, track, and manage for the girl’s tennis team. I plan on attending Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin next fall to major in English education.

I believe that journalism is important because it is crucial that people are aware of what is going on around them. Journalism is a great way for people to express themselves. It can be seen as a creative outlet for many people. It is important that our school is able to belong to a community while allowing the students to express their individuality.
