Hi I’m Emma Brandt, a senior and writer for the Advocate. I participate in a lot of after-school activities including cross-country, skiing, track, STEM society, and management of the girls hockey team. Next year I am attending the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and studying biology to become a veterinarian. I’m very excited to write and take pictures for The Advocate.

I believe journalism and news are very important subjects for our generation. Everywhere we go, news is all around us through electronic media, and I want to be a part of the action and send information to people around our school. I personally love taking pictures and want to learn more about different styles of photography.
