Since November 2012, Rihanna’s music making had come to a halt. Other than the release of 3 singles in 2015 (FourFiveSeconds, B**** Better Have my Money, and American Oxygen), Rihanna had not released an album since her hugely successful “Unapologetic” She announced in October that her 8th album was titled “ANTI”  and she told Rolling Stone magazine “It’s all about being misunderstood, but still standing out and doing what feels right for you.” Last week, the album she had been teasing since summer was finally released. It received mixed reviews from fans since Rihanna decided to leave out the fast paced, radio ready pop songs, and focus mainly on slower and smoother R&B tracks. She is set to perform at the 58th Grammys on February 15th, and embark on a 68 show tour beginning on February 26th in San Diego Rihanna’s new album “ANTI” is this week’s Playlist of the Week
