My name is Brianna Cookman. I am a senior at Mayo and have lived in Rochester all my life. I love to spend time with my friends and family. At Mayo I’m involved in theatre and girls golf.

I believe journalism is important because it impacts so many people. One article can change someone’s views on a specific event or person, and as journalists, we all have a duty to publish information as accurately as possible.

This year I want to learn how to write articles and improve on my writing skills.
