As the last week of GOFA rolls around, Mayo High School is hosting its Beatnik Café, which is a talent show for the students who would like to come participate and offer their talents as part of the GOFA effort. Just hoping to entertain the school for a while, the performers do their best but know that it’s nothing too serious; it’s just a fun way to get into GOFA activities. Beatnik Café has been a longstanding tradition, as it brings the school together with joy, laughter, and creativity.
Mayo High School annually hosts the Beatnik Café Talent Show in the auditorium during 4th and 5h hour lunches. Be sure to get a guaranteed spot on the talent show: there are flyers around Mayo High School. Look for a QR code on the flyer. In order to experience the amazing talent Mayo High School has to offer there is a fee of $1 to watch. It’s $5 a person to participate in the talent show. Also before going to watch the talent show you can buy some GOFA snacks to go along with the intriguing performances that Mayo High School students or staff have to offer.
