The season of giving has finally arrived, and you know what that means: GOFA season is here! This means our favorite teachers will be bringing amazing treats and hosting all sorts of fun activities around Mayo. This GOFA promises to bring the BOOM with new and classic events, like everyone’s favorites Paranoia, Penny Wars, and many more. And, of course, we can’t forget the fantastic dress-up days.

While all of these events are exciting, there is one that stands out above the rest and that’s Rent-a-Senior. Many of you may remember this event from previous years, but for those who don’t, here’s how you can rent your favorite senior for the day.

So, what is Rent-a-Senior? It’s a chance to have a senior as your personal assistant for the day! Your senior will stay by your side, helping you carry your bags, delivering snacks, and walking you to class. Just to name a few of the things they can do for you. Seniors who are rented will meet you at your class before the bell rings and help you get to your next class, to pursue your educational prowess.

So why wait? You can rent your favorite senior for the whole day starting December 5. They’ll be available for your services on December 6, 13, and 20. Anyone can pay $10 at the GOFA stands during lunch and choose the senior they want to rent. It’s one of the best trade offs all year. Not only will you be supporting GOFA, but you’ll also have someone to boss around and hang out with.

Seniors who wish to participate will have already received a Google form in their email. Simply fill it out with your first and last name, phone number, the days you want to participate, and your payment method. The last day for seniors to sign up will be December 4.
