It’s December and GOFA is making its yearly return at Mayo High School! This event holds many fun activities, but one of the most anticipated is the food! Aside from fellow students, some of your very own teachers are stepping out into the halls and selling all sorts of drinks and snacks to help support the cause. They’ll be waiting out in the hallways and in front of classrooms, so you can stop by and purchase a treat.
A few of the teachers participating in the event include the following:
Mr. Johnson will be outside of room 2-124. He’ll be seen running a “GOFA Pop-up Store” with various goods ranging from energy drinks to popular snacks. Mr. Johnson accepts Apple Pay, Venmo, and cash, so don’t worry about not having pocket change!
Ms. Ekman can be found at the front of room 2-101 selling pop tarts, Mountain Dew, and Little Debbies. This vendor only accepts cash and the prices range from 1-3 dollars.
Mr. Johnsrud will be selling his mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls at the top of door 6 every morning. The rolls only cost $2 each and you can pay with cash.
So, if you’re in need of a little snack before your next class, stop by one of these vendors or find another teacher nearby to satisfy your hunger while donating to a good cause.
