Get ready to unleash your creativity and show off your school spirit, GOFA’s dress up days are back! Every year, Mayo hosts “Dress up days” where the student body will dress up according to the theme of the day. Starting from the second of December until the twentieth, make sure to come to school dressed in your best rendition. Outfits should be school appropriate and match the daily concept. Students love getting creative with their costumes, whether it’s going all in on a theme or just wearing their normal school attire. The halls are filled with energy as everyone shows off their wild outfits, from pajamas to jerseys to just plain goofy looks. No need to sign up or pay for an entry, just show up and make some fun memories! 

Week 1

December 2nd – ELEMENTS – Seniors: Fire, Juniors: Water, Sophomores: Air, Freshmen: Earth

December 3rd – USA v. MN – Dress up in your best United States spirit or Minnesota spirit.

December 4th – SKI v. BEACH – Dress up as a skier or someone ready for the beach.

December 5th – FLEECE v. FLANNEL – Dress up in your comfiest fleece or flannel outfits.

December 6th – TEACHERS v. STUDENTS – Dress up as your favorite teacher; the staff will dress as students.

Week 2

December 9th – MONOCHROME MONDAY – All of your clothes and shoes should be comprised of one color.

December 10th – TWIN DAY TUESDAY – Dress the same as one of your friends.

December 11th – WACKY WEDNESDAY – Dress up in a silly, creative way.

December 12th – THROWBACK THURSDAY – Go old school; pick a decade and live it through your style.

December 13th – FANCY FRIDAY – Break out your fanciest clothes, and dress your best.

Week 3

December 16th – SPIRIT OUT – Dress up with Mayo spirit and attire.

December 17th – PAJAMA DAY – No need to dress up; just come to school in your cozy pajamas.

December 18th – NEON DAY – Dress up in your brightest and most neon colors.

December 19th – JERSEY – Represent your favorite team or player from any sport.

December 20th – UGLY SWEATER – Dress up in your ugliest sweaters.
