Hi, my name is Rachel Lisovskis, and I am a senior at Mayo High School. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, being outside, reading, playing with my dog, and cooking. This fall I plan to attend college at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I believe journalism is important because it keeps everyone in the community up to date on everything happening around them. Journalism is meant to provide people with the unobstructed and unbiased truth, but that is not always the case is today’s media.While working in journalism, I’d like to learn more about taking good pictures, using Photoshop, and writing effective, influential articles.
