It’s Gofa season, and what better way to spend it than with a Super Smash Brothers tournament hosted by Jacob Koster and Levi Williams? On December 18 and 19 after school, come down to door 6 after school and play Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. You can sign up just by showing up; the entry fee is one dollar, and we hope to see you there.

The tournament will start out with matches of two players against each other with two lives for five minutes on Battlefield. All characters are allowed except for MII fighters. Once there are four players remaining we will conclude gaming on the 18th and resume on the 19th, when we will move to the semifinals, then the final matches. The winner of the tournament will receive a ten dollar gift card to Target. People who were eliminated do not need to show up on the second day but can come and watch the finals. If you’d like to come and watch the match: it is free.

You will not be required to bring a controller, but if want to bring your own compatible controller you can, and Gamecube controllers will be usable. If you do not bring a controller, you will use the Nintendo Switch Joy Cons. Be sure you check that your controller is compatible with the version of Smash we are playing.
