Dr. Mayo is a competition among individuals in Mayo High Schools upperclassmen section to raise the most money for our GOFA charity drive. Many students are successful doing this through their unique style, hard work, and creative ideas such as baking, singing, valet parking, and much more.

The Dr. Mayo competition is a co-ed event with no limit to the number of people who can run. If you are interested in trying to win the title of Dr. Mayo, there are two requirements you should be aware of. First, you must raise $50 by the end of the first week (December 7th). Then, $150 total is due by the second week. Once you have met these requirements you will be able to participate in the Dr. Mayo Catwalk. This is an event that takes place during the final pepfest on the 21st, and all the students who are running have one last opportunity to show off who they are in order to get the students excited.
