My name is Kyle Kriener. I am from Cresco, Iowa, but I moved to Rochester, Minnesota when I was nine. I enjoy spending time playing sports and spending time with family or friends. I play football and basketball. I have one sister Kaitlyn, who is a junior at Mayo. My hobbies include playing video games and eating food.

I think journalism is important because it's essentially how all news is recorded and spread. Over the semester I hope I learn how to become a better photographer and become more involved in sports photography. One goal of mine is to learn how to use Photoshop this semester, so I can become more tech savvy.
